Fluid, responsive, modular, acoustic glazing system

Double or single glazed? Solid, fabric or timber panel? Glazed fronts or crosswalls? System 2000 gives designers all the above in a modular acoustic wall.

Elegant aluminium frames with a unique modular construction create a high performance, flexible solution to shaping a space. The recessed track design creates a floating frame with acoustic performance up Rw 55dB and heights up to 7 metres.

System 2000 glazed fronts and solid panel crosswalls facilitate organisational change. Large meeting rooms transform into offices, offices into phone booths. In a world of increasing uncertainty, office layout flexibilty is a desirable trait in any design.

System 2000 reconfigurations are quicker than drywall allowing clients to react to changes and use their office space more efficiently. By harnessing Strahle’s patented steel mullion and planning around standardised module sizes reconfigurations can take place over a weekend.

The strong environmental argument for reusing long life-cycle products along with being one of the first cradle to cradle partition systems make System 2000 a far superior solution over drywall for structuring a space.

Technical details

Steel post structure: Patented steel post can accept any type of panel giving ability to change look and use of the product. A range of accessories can be installed through the system using the same post.

Recessed tracks: Create a series of floating frames in a robust, elegant system.

Superior Anodised Aluminium Finish as standard. We offer both PPC painted finishes and anodised aluminium finishes to our partition and door frames. The anodised finish captures the beauty of metal bringing out the soft sheen of the base material. Particularly complimentary to timber veneers. Available in six colours to give design freedom.
System can be demounted and rebuilt many times with minimal components and a long product life cycle.

7m high possible: Using a mullion and transom structure means designers do not need to compromise on transparency and slab to slab installation becomes possible.

S64 Door: Rw 38dB/43dB

Solid door set within timber or aluminium frame. Two cores allows performance to be tailored to requirements. Both doors sit in the 64mm system footprint and are available in a range of timber veneers and laminates. Side hinge mechanism allows for full width drop down seal and increased acoustic performance. Compatible with all Strahle systems.

AR100 Door: Rw 42dB/44dB

Double glazed aluminium framed door leaf. Designed to be used in double glazed systems at 100mm deep.  An industry first for a glazed door achieving Rw 44dB, an exceptional performance achieved using a double rebate and double drop down acoustic seals.  Also available at Rw 42dB with a single acoustic drop seal for less critical applications. Side hinge mechanism allows for full width drop down seal and increased acoustic performance. The mitred frame and leaf profiles add to the premium quality feeling. Compatible with all Strahle double glazed systems.

ST40 Door: Rw 34dB

Delivering exceptional acoustic performance tested and certified to Rw 34dB as a component and not as an averaged result across a glazed elevation. This door was originally designed for the Fladgate project with Hann Tucker acousticians. Robust sliding mechanism incorporates a full width acoustic seal. The mitred frame and leaf profiles have a sharp, quality aesthetic. Compatible with all Strahle systems.

Compatible with all systems to allow a flexible approach to project wide acoustics giving a high performance option.
